Doing Business with DDC
As the primary capital construction project manager for the City of New York, the NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC) builds and renovates many of the civic facilities New Yorkers use every day. DDC provides communities with new or renovated structures such as firehouses, libraries, police precincts, courthouses, senior centers and more. To successfully manage this diverse portfolio of projects, the department collaborates with emerging and world-renowned architects and consultants.
As DDC works to develop better processes to increase the breadth of the pool of architects with which they work, you are invited to participate in a discussion at the Center for Architecture that will explain their processes.
Speakers:
Margaret Castillo, FAIA, LEED AP, Chief Architect, NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC)
Michaela Metcalfe, Director of Design and Construction Excellence, NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC)
