ArchSandFest 2023: NYS Emerging Professionals Summer Outing

NOTE: This is a private AIA event, and is only open to licensed architects, emerging professionals who are licensure candidates, and their families in the five boroughs, Long Island, and New Jersey chapters of the AIA. Please provide your AIA number, or, if not yet licensed, your NCARB record number to register. All attendees must provide a government issued ID to enter the premises. 

AIA New York and its sister chapters across NYC are excited to announce our first annual ArchSandFest—a summertime bash and AIA tradition that supports emerging design and construction leaders. Join us at the beach for a fun-filled time with your family and friends, and meet other professionals in the architecture industry. Enjoy a day of beach sports, games, music, food and drinks, happy hour, and more! The highlight of the event is our sandcastle competition, which is open to all registrants.

Most importantly, several lucky AIA emerging professionals in attendance will have the opportunity to win scholarships to help defray the costs of their licensure exams, registration fees, and study materials. Don't miss this chance to network and have fun with other professionals across the AIA while also supporting the next generation!

Roundtrip transportation to and from the beach will be provided per the details below. We have thought of and covered everything—all you need to do is enjoy. So sign up today!

Transportation to/from venue
Roundtrip transportation will be provided for Manhattan (AIANY), Brooklyn (Barclays Center), and Queens (Queensboro Plaza). Shuttle buses will pick up attendees at 11am at all three locations, and at 6pm for the return trip to the same spots. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time to get settled in and allow your fellow passengers to board. The buses will leave promptly at the scheduled times.
