Building of the Day: Hudson Commons

Hudson Commons is a repositioned office tower that maintains the expression of the neighborhood with new Class-A workspace. KPF renovated the eight-story warehouse and designed a new, 17-story building that rises from the podium. Home to Peloton and Lyft, nearly every level offers outdoor space, the top floor combining its double-height space with a landscaped terrace. By reusing over 85 percent of the existing structure, the design preserves embodied carbon and reduces the project’s environmental impact.
