This presentation will discuss the formation of natural stone and compare that with the natural process technology of manufacturing Calcium Silicate Stone Units. Architectural detailing for stone masonry veneers promoting moisture management principles and considerations for control of movement in masonry walls is covered. A variety of design styles incorporating stone masonry materials are highlighted. Thin Adhered stone design options with drainage and NEW Continuous Insulation requirement, NFPA 285 approved thin wall system.

Dave Holzbaur has been in architectural sales for over ten years, calling on firms both large and small. He has worked on new builds up to 100,000 square feet in all sectors. He just finished Tammny Hall and is about to start South Nassau Community Hospital with 47,000 square feet of pre-cast brick imported from Europe. Consolidated Brick represents over 70 manufactures worldwide and has been in business over 50 years. Their presence goes from Delaware to Maine. They do both interior and exterior projects. Their focus may be brick but we have many projects that involve complex wall systems with natural stone, thin brick and metal panel. They are involved from conception to the finish.
