PASSPort: NYC’s New Online Procurement System

The Mayor’s Office of Contract Services (MOCS) is a New York City oversight and service agency that is dedicated to optimizing existing operations and transforming processes to make it easier to do business with the City. At MOCS, the City is pursuing these goals through a vision of fair, responsible, and timely procurement.

The Procurement and Sourcing Solutions Portal (PASSPort) is the City’s new online platform that will digitize the entire procurement process—from sourcing, to solicitation, award and through to registration. You may be familiar with the first release of PASSPort that brought VENDEX online and reduced the disclosure process for most vendors from 30 days to one day. More time saving reforms and greater transparency are underway.

AIA New York will be hosting a briefing on January 15, 2020 from 8:30-10:00 AM at 536 LaGuardia Place, New York, NY 10012, where MOCS will share more about their work and vision for procurement transformation for the City. We would like to invite those who:

• Are interested in learning more about City contracting processes
• Are interested in learning where the City is in the PASSPort design process, and/or
• Use PASSPort regularly or oversee the contract registration process and can provide specific feedback on process changes, user experience and data needs
