This program is related to the exhibition The Future of the New York Metropolitan Area: The Fourth Regional Plan.

Chicagoland’s Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC), the Bay Area’s  San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR), and New York’s Regional Plan Association (RPA)—the three longest-serving civic organizations focused on regional planning in the nation—come together to explore best practices and strategies for promoting sustainable, equitable growth. Join us to hear the leaders of SPUR (Gabe Metcalf), RPA (Tom Wright), and MPC (MarySue Barrett) discuss how their regions have changed over the last 20 years, and what challenges and opportunities lie ahead.

Speakers:
Gabriel Metcalf, President and CEO, SPUR
Tom Wright, President and CEO, RPA
MarySue Barrett, President, Metropolitan Planning Council
Rohit Aggarwala, Head of Urban Systems, Sidewalk Labs
