The 2025 Waterfront Conference comes at a pivotal moment, exploring a shifting political landscape, evolving funding challenges, and transformative policy changes. With a new administration reshaping federal priorities, the event is an unparalleled opportunity to influence critical conversations and advance solutions to define the future of climate resilience, waterfronts, and coastlines.

Featured speakers include Turenscape founder KONGJIAN YU, Sasaki Principal SUSANNAH DRAKE, and Mannahatta author ERIC SANDERSON. Now in its 18th year, the Waterfront Conference continues to be the premier forum for discussion, collaboration, and innovative strategy development for the New York-New Jersey region and the nation at large. More than 600 participants, including policymakers, community leaders, scientists, engineers, architects, academics, and environmental advocates, as well as professionals from labor, real estate, insurance, and financial services will take part. In the tradition of the Waterfront Alliance’s dedication to tackling the toughest issues, the 2025 Waterfront Conference will cover steps we all must take to face a complex and uncertain future.
