Join us for a presentation and conversation with Leila Bozorg, Deputy Mayor for Housing and Planning, on the recently released housing plan Block by Block: The Housing Plan for A New Era. The Mamdani Administration's housing plan details an all-of-the-above strategy to address the city's housing crisis with development, preservation, and protection policy solutions with the goal of building 200,000 new housing units and preserving 200,000 housing units over the next decade. In a conversation with Jesse Lazar, Assoc. AIA, Executive Director, AIA New York, and Brian Loughlin, AIA, Co-chair, AIANY Housing Committee, the Deputy Mayor will delve into the details of the plan, steps the administration is taking to implement Block by Block, and the role of architects in tackling the housing crisis.
