“La Dolce Vita: Masters of Italian Design” is the thirteenth selling exhibition at Galerie56, and marks its first formal collaboration with Nilufar, a gallery spanning nearly five decades, known for its ability to anticipate design trends and its exceptional selection of vintage design masterpieces. With an assembly that offers a comprehensive and emotionally resonant journey through Italy’s most creative decades, the curated selection of Italian masterpieces—including works by Carlo Mollino, Ettore Sottsass, Piero Fornasetti, BBPR, and Ico Parisi—highlights both experimental and functional dimensions of 20th-century design.
