Following a complex, multi-year renovation and enhancement, The Frick Collection reopened to the public this spring. The transformation, undertaken by Selldorf Architects with Beyer Blinder Belle, in collaboration with the Frick’s project and curatorial teams, sensitively interweaves new spaces with the meticulously restored galleries of the historic mansion.

To mark the occasion, Architectural Record invites you to an evening at the museum, where editor in chief Josephine Minutillo will be joined by Annabelle Selldorf, principal of Selldorf Architects; Richard Southwick, director of historic preservation at Beyer Blinder Belle; and Carolyn Straub, associate director for capital projects at the Frick. Following the conversation, guests may visit the refurbished and new galleries on the museum’s first and second floors.
