New York City’s carbon reduction goals under Local Law 97, paired with energy and maintenance mandates, are driving a wave of façade modernization across the city. Through project examples, we’ll examine how building renovations, façade upgrades, and MEP overhauls work in tandem to deliver energy and carbon savings, occupant comfort, and modern aesthetics—all within the constraints of occupied buildings, complex existing conditions, and tight budgets.
