People all over the world, including architects, are presently struggling to parse and understand the consequences of executive orders and other actions coming from Washington this year.

From tariffs to spending freezes to federal layoffs, we know that many of these developments have and will continue to affect architectural practice and your businesses, from the largest firms to sole practitioners and everyone in between. At the same time, universities, non-profits and other parts of civil society are struggling to respond to a hostile federal government.

Both AIA New York and the Center for Architecture remain steadfast in our commitment to promoting just and sustainable communities through advancing the value and practice of architecture.

We invite you to join us for this in-person evening to gather, share, and discuss in community the impacts you are currently seeing so that we can plan and prioritize efforts as an institution, as business entities, and as individuals.

In advance of the event, we encourage you to continue to share the impacts on your business here. All responses will be used solely for internal information-gathering purposes and will not be disclosed publicly.
