Toward a Sustainable Architecture: Sustainable and Circular Construction

Cleaning up the construction process and the built environment begins with the design team. The event’s three panelists will present multiple approaches available to design professionals with the goal of reducing the carbon impact of construction materials and methods as well as the ongoing carbon footprint of buildings over their lifetime. Topics will include the manufacturing and sourcing of materials, cleaner construction methods, clean energy solutions, and the deconstructability of buildings with an eye toward recycling of building materials.
