This workshop offers participants a comprehensive understanding of the interview process, addressing both the psychological and practical dimensions of interview preparation and performance.

It will outline key principles and actionable strategies relevant to professionals at junior to intermediate career levels. Drawing on insights from both interviewer and interviewee perspectives, the session will examine common challenges, effective communication techniques, and the critical factors that contribute to interview success. Designed to be highly interactive, the workshop encourages open discussion and active participation. Attendees are welcome to share questions or real-world examples, making the discussion more engaging and tailored to their experiences.

Nika Mo, AIA, PMP is a Project Architect at Moody Nolan with seven years of experience leading projects from concept through construction. Her expertise spans master planning, repositioning, technical coordination, and project delivery.

Known for her strategic thinking and collaborative leadership, Mo excels in navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments. She is also a committed mentor, dedicated to helping young professionals build confidence and clarity in their early careers. Having worked in both boutique studios and global design firms, she brings a well-rounded perspective on the evolving challenges and opportunities within the architecture profession.

Luna Zhou, AIA is a Project Architect at Gensler specializing in healthcare design. With six years of experience, she is dedicated to creating innovative, human-centered, and regulatory-compliant environments that promote healing and well-being. Luna collaborates closely with hospital leadership, clinical users, and multidisciplinary teams to translate complex healthcare needs into forward-thinking design solutions.

Her portfolio includes projects ranging from outpatient facilities to large-scale hospital master plans, integrating clinical operations, sustainability, and evolving care standards. A passionate advocate for inclusive and resilient healthcare spaces, Luna’s work has been recognized for advancing health equity within communities.

Committed to mentorship and cross-disciplinary collaboration, Luna actively supports emerging designers and champions architecture’s role in building healthier, more equitable futures.

The committees of AIA New York are the foundations from which the Chapter positions itself in the field of architecture, whether through discussion, advocacy, policy making and development, event and exhibition planning, or other endeavors.

Committees meet monthly, usually at the Center for Architecture. AIA members, AIA associate members, and general public are all welcome to participate.
