Book Launch for Contemporary Art Underground: MTA Arts & Design New York

Join us for a lively discussion on New York’s underground art world as featured in the recently published Contemporary Art Underground: MTA Arts & Design New York (Monacelli, 2024). The book's co-authors, MTA Arts & Design arts professionals Sandra Bloodworth and Cheryl Hageman, will discuss the works of the many talented artists featured in the A&D program and offer a behind-the-scenes look at fabrication and installation. Following the authors' presentation, Linda Tonn and Eve Michel will join the conversation to explore the synergy between art and architecture and how that partnership enriches the public realm.
