Times Square recently witnessed the realization of one New York City's largest, most complex, and exciting projects: TSX Broadway. Through a decade of collaboration, the client and the team of A/E/C experts brought to life an extraordinarily complex hospitality, entertainment, and retail project, including restoring and lifting the legendary Palace Theatre 30 feet above its original elevation. Gathering perspectives from design, engineering, historic preservation, and real-estate development team members, this panel focuses on the communication tools, collaboration, and technical expertise required for the successful delivery of this transformative immersion experience. Architecture panelists will share their experiences and insight on navigating the complex site, ownership, and design, while construction professionals will address performance, preservation, and technical aspects of the theater lift. Learn how communication can better inform and provide more responsible design decisions and how each of us can play a part in effecting change.
