Boat Tour: 50th Anniversary of The Power Broker

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Power Broker, join the Municipal Art Society of New York and AIA New York on Sunday, October 6, for a three-hour boat tour honoring Robert Caro’s publication and exploring Robert Moses’ indelible impact on New York City’s built environment.

Historians John Kriskiewicz and Nicholas Bloom, and Charles McKinney, former Chief of Design at NYC Parks, will lead attendees on a journey around Manhattan, diving into the history and details surrounding the countless places and spaces where Moses made his mark.

Climb aboard the Manhattan II, an elegant 1920s-style yacht, and spend the afternoon circumnavigating the Manhattan as Robert Caro’s masterpiece comes to life. Ticket includes food and an open bar.
