Join Build Change in-person during Climate Week NYC for “Let’s Make Housing its Own SDG: Reframing the Post-2030 Agenda,” a compelling panel discussion dedicated to exploring how innovative housing solutions can drive progress towards making our cities inclusive, safe, and resilient.

Preview a few of the speakers!

We will raise a call to collaborative action for a post-2030 agenda that centers the urgent need for safe, resilient housing for all, elevating the voices and needs of vulnerable populations living in low-income communities and especially across the Global South, and address the underrepresentation of these communities in policy spaces.

What You’ll Experience:

  • Uncover Housing’s Impact: Explore how housing is a cornerstone of the SDGs and global initiatives aimed at reducing poverty and promoting development. We’ll present tangible project examples that illustrate the transformative power of effective housing strategies.
  • Identify and Address Gaps: Join us as we critically evaluate the current challenges and delays in achieving SDG 11 housing targets. Engage in a lively discussion about innovative solutions proposed by leading partners to bridge these gaps and accelerate progress.
  • Collaborate for the Future: Explore groundbreaking ideas and new frameworks designed to address both quantitative and qualitative housing deficits. Discover how these collaborative approaches can shape the post-2030 agenda and drive sustainable urban development.
