About the Speaker:
Janet Mellor is a NYS registered architect with over 30 years' experience in building energy conservation. She recently retired from her position as Senior Energy Code Compliance Auditor with the Department of Buildings Bureau of Sustainability. In that capacity, she trained energy code inspectors and auditors, developed references and training materials for the review of energy code-related construction documents and inspection reports, and oversaw the resolution of energy code infractions. Janet hopes to pass along the knowledge gained from that experience to construction industry professionals and to the public.
