The Fellows Workshop provides section-by-section guidance about the schedule, contents, and formatting requirements for an FAIA submission to the AIA National Jury. Advancement to the AIA College of Fellows is granted for significant achievement in design, preservation, education, literature, and service. It honors architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level. Architects who have been members for 10 or more years are eligible for consideration.

Members of the AIANY Fellows Committee will lead the seminar, giving tips and insights gleaned from their combined experience as candidates, sponsors, and reference writers. All chapter-nominated candidates are invited to attend; sponsors and one administrative support may be registered along with the nominee at no charge. Anyone interested in the FAIA process may also register and attend. Participants are encouraged to come to the Center for Architecture if they are based in the New York Metropolitan region.

Heidi Blau, FAIA, Co-chair, Fellows Committee; Partner and COO, FXCollaborative
Sharon Egretta Sutton, Ph.D., FAIA, Co-chair, Fellows Committee; Professor, Parsons School of Design
