Climate Ready Buildings Training

This training is a prerequisite to the certification process for the Enterprise Green Communities Criteria for projects financed by NYC Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).

The Climate Ready Buildings Training educates affordable housing project teams–including building owners, architects, and contractors – on how to design and construct high-performance buildings that are resilient against the increasing pressure of climate change and align with NY’s climate goals.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how the climate crisis and subsequent NY policies impact the building industry, insight into design and construction strategies, such as Integrative Design Process (IDP), and HPD-specific funding opportunities.
