AIA New York 156th Annual Meeting

Please join us as we elect our 2024 leadership, honor those who contribute to our city's built environment, and celebrate the progress and direction of AIA New York. During the evening, we will also highlight the challenges, successes, and state of the Chapter for 2023, from public advocacy to professional training, and our annual theme of Our City, Ourselves. 

Independent nominations may be submitted to the Secretary via the chapter (membervoices@aiany.org) in accordance with Chapter Bylaws. If an independent slate is submitted, a ballot election will be held at the Annual Meeting. If there is no independent slate, the Secretary is empowered to vote a single ballot for the Nominating Committee slate as presented. See the 2024 Board and Elective Committee Slate here.

An AIA New York Bylaws amendment is also proposed and will be voted on during the Annual Meeting. The amendment will update the composition of the Fellows Committee. Please read the details here.

The following AIANY honors will be conferred:

• Leadership in Housing Award: RiseBoro
• Public Architect Award: Margaret O'Donoghue Castillo, FAIA, LEED AP
• Service to the Institute and the City: Benjamin Prosky, Assoc. AIA 
• Special Citation in Service to the Institute: Molly Heintz
• Special Citation in Service to the City: Rosalie Genevro
