NYC Health + Hospitals: Decarbonization and the Advantages of Cogeneration

The lecture will focus will be an overview of the NYC Health + Hospitals's Mission, Project Management Delivery Models, Resource Planning for Finance and Procurement, Environmental Stewardship, the GHG Inventory & Sustainability Action Plan (for Scopes 1, 2 and 3) and will conclude with a discussion of The Bellevue CHP Project.

About the Speakers:
Oscar Gonzalez joined NYC Health + Hospitals in 2019. He has over 21 years of experience in managing large projects and portfolios in a variety of environments leading capital efforts city-wide.

Tennille Santos joined NYC Health + Hospitals in June of 2022 as Director of Energy Management, overseeing program and project delivery of clean and efficient energy projects. Since 2010, Santos has served in a similar capacity with state agencies such as the New York Power Authority and Port Authority of NY & NJ. She received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College and obtained her PE in 2014.
