Architects and engineers tend to focus intensely on the essence of their craft: delivering thoughtful, profound solutions to specific clients, the public, and society writ large through design. However, responsibly limiting your liability is as paramount as the designs you create. This panel of industry experts will discuss the importance and availability of contractual limitations of liability in the marketplace, strategies for negotiating such clauses, and how project design teams can collectively work together to protect their bottom line. Diverse viewpoints will be provided, including in-house counsel, outside counsel, insurance broking, and principal perspectives.

Panelists:
Nat Oppenheimer, PE,
Senior Vice President, Silman
Stephen Schreckinger, Esq., Owner, Schreckinger Law, P.C.
LeAnn Shelton, Esq., AIA, General Counsel and Director of Business Affairs, Rockwell Group

Moderator:
Kriton A Pantelidis, JD
,  Vice President, Professional Services, Risk Strategies Company
