As the industry explores more sustainable construction methods and technologies to iterate the design process, the AIANY Women in Architecture Committee (WIA) hosts five pioneering women design and construction leaders to offer an all-day conference and workshop to help build the pathway for women in fabrication.

Please join AIANY WIA and co-host Eventscape for a day of thought leadership, demonstration, and hands-on activities focused on encouraging women designers and design students to consider architectural fabrication as a career path—or a path to elevating their projects.

Despite the perception that fabrication is dominated by our male counterparts, some of the most respected experts in advanced architectural fabrication today are women leading design practice initiatives, teaching in elite architecture programs, and pushing the envelope of what’s possible in the industry. Women in Fabrication will expose the next generation of women architects to the work and perspectives of rising female stars in architectural fabrication and their insights on the professional journeys that took them there.
