What do schools look like in Sweden and Scandinavia today? What will they look like tomorrow? What expectations and pressures are placed on these important buildings? And how do we look to answer the important design, social and political questions we need to ask about schools? All are welcome to explore the current state of school design in Scandinavia, its potential future, and the opportunities and challenges facing schools in the region.

Magnus Anclair, Founder, Forum Building Schools

About the Speaker:
Magnus Anclair is the founder of and project manager at the Swedish national network Forum Building Schools. The network supports all stakeholders involved in school house projects, on matters from what is a good learning environment, to the construction of the building, to the placing of the school and its involvement In the local community. Before starting this network, Anclair had been responsible for a wide range of conferences. He has worked for, among others, a Swedish university and Swedish government agencies.
