The crucial 2023 New York City Council elections are fast approaching. The outcomes of these races will significantly impact the practice of architecture throughout the city. Therefore, AIA New York has formed AIA New York Political Action Fund, which will support candidates who believe in creating more housing, improving transportation, implementing sustainable design measures, and other architectural priorities.

To kick off the Political Action Fund, Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine will be meeting with architects to discuss the importance of their political activism. Drinks and light refreshments will be provided.

Speakers:
Andrea Lamberti, AIA, Chair, AIA New York Political Action Fund; Partner, Rafael Viñoly Architects
Mark Levine, Manhattan Borough President

No contribution is required to attend, though a contribution of any size is greatly appreciated. To join as a host, you can donate $250+, $500+, or $1,000+. Make your donation here.
