USGBC’s Middle Atlantic and New England (MANE) region collaborated with the New York City Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) to host a series of lunchtime webinars on a variety of resilience topics in 2021 and 2022, with a Culminating Summit each year. The Resiliency Series continues in 2023 with 4 more Lunch + Learns, and a hybrid Summit to be held in October. Each 90-minute session will include a Q&A portion.

This session tackles the issues of indoor air quality as it relates to viruses based on the experiences of the last 2 years. These experts will discuss ventilation rates and air exchange from a green building perspective, including energy intensity issues, equipment types and strategies, building codes, and ventilation research conducted in higher education settings.

CEUS: Most sessions will provide Professional Engineer CEUs/PDHs, AIA LU approval is pending, and the sessions are also being submitted to GBCI for further approval. Attendees are welcome to self-report these sessions to their accrediting body for continuing education. Please note, GBCI CE’s are only offered for live webinar attendance. Each person wishing to earn CE hours must register individually.
