Join us for a two-part panel on the Port Authority’s role in shaping and growing the metropolitan region’s three major airports from the 1940s to today, using the RPA’s 1947 seminal report, “Airports of Tomorrow,” as a springboard for discussion. The first panel is a historical perspective of the pioneering planning and negotiations that created the nation’s first regional aviation hub moderated by Huntley Lawrence, COO Port Authority New York New Jersey; followed by a fireside chat focused on the vision for the future of aviation in the region, with Rick Cotton, Executive Director of Port Authority New York New Jersey, and Kevin O’Toole, Chairman of Port Authority New York New Jersey, and moderated by Thomas K. Wright, President and CEO of Regional Plan Association.
