Are you interested in becoming a principal or partner at your firm, or even principal-curious? Do you wonder what the path to principal is, what it takes to be chosen, and how to even decide if it’s what you want? After the AIANY Women in Architecture Committee's "Path to Principal" panel on November 2, the committee is offering a follow-up virtual workshop with Maya Sharfi, design industry career coach, strategist, and founder of Build Yourself. In this training, you will learn how to position yourself for principal or partner and how to create a step-by-step promotion plan to leadership. You’ll learn about the unwritten rules of navigating to leadership (even if you don’t think you’re one of the ‘chosen ones!’) and how to get recognized for your value inside and outside your company. If you want more from your career, but have wondered how to get there, or have been waiting to be promoted, or if you know you have more to contribute but worry about how to balance a leadership role with a vibrant life outside of work, this session is for you!
