Building of the Day: The Carolina

The Carolina provides 400 units of critically needed affordable housing to East Harlem. The building seeks to re-knit neighborhood street life with residential communities and local organizations through a resilient, sustainable, and dignified design. These new homes aim to build equity in their community while fostering a dynamic, lively presence on the street.
