The Charleston Branch of the New York Public Library is a 10,000-square-foot community library inspired by the masonry craft heritage of the community. The building is designed to  operate as a net-zero, high-performance facility to meet the City of New York’s aggressive goals to dramatically reduce carbon emissions by 2050.
