Summer Program: Castles and Forts (Grades 3-5) – In-Person

*This event is occurring in-person at the Center for Architecture*

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm ET, daily

Jump into the magical world of castles and forts right here in New York City! During this program, we’ll visit some local examples of these fairytale-like structures and explore amazing examples from around the world to learn about their special design features and imagine what it might be like to live in one. Over the course of the week, students will design and build a model of a castle or fort of their own design!

Need-Based Scholarships:

By registering for this program, you are accepting our 2022 In-Person Youth Programs Terms & Conditions.

VACCINATION AND MASK POLICY: All visitors 5 and older must be fully vaccinated and will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (with photo ID for adults) to enter the Center for Architecture. The vaccination policy for Youth Programs will remain in place through the end of Summer 2022. Please see the Center for Architecture’s COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocol for current guidelines on masking.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Registration for all programs is non-transferable. Tuition for all programs is non-refundable. There are no exceptions to this policy. The Center for Architecture will not provide make-ups or refunds for days missed as a result of vacation plans, scheduling conflicts, illness (including COVID-19), emergencies, or other events beyond our control.
