With facilities becoming more technically advanced, the pressure put on a building’s mechanical, electrical, life safety and networked systems to perform at high levels has increased demand for advanced commissioning approaches and services. This presentation will describe the major changes for Commissioning in LEED v4.1 compared to V3 (2009).

In this presentation, we will learn the differences between LEED 2009 and LEED v4.1 commissioning requirements and the impact on overall project cost. We will cover the tasks and considerations for commissioning during design, gain a fundamental understanding of construction phase commissioning activities, and gain an understanding of the commissioning efforts that happen after substantial completion. Attendees will earn 1 AIA LU | HSW.
