Art by Architects 2022

Art is a touchstone for many architects. The relationship between the two fields serves as the inspiration for the annual showcase Art By Architects.

Each year since 2018, Art By Architects has invited architects to publicly exhibit their work and celebrate the creative output of fellow designers in the New York City area.

Architect-artists interested in submitting their work should register by March 25, 2022 as exhibitors using the Art Submission event pass type, submitters can opt to add a second work at a discounted registration fee. Please complete the 2022 Art By Architects entry form and submit an image of your work to the email address included in the form. Please complete a separate form and image for each submission.

The works submitted to the 4th Annual Art By Architects showcase will be shown at the Center for Architecture on Friday April 1, 2022. Doors open at 4:00 pm to recieve art, followed by a reception from 6:00 – 8:30 pm.

Proceeds from the exhibition’s application fees and contributions from the public are used to cover operating expenses of the installation; any additional income will be directed through the Red Cross to aid Ukraine.

This event is offered in person; proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination (for attendees ages 5 and up) with photo ID for adults is required to attend. Food and beverages will be served. Face masks are required for visitors ages 2-5, and optional for those vaccinated. Read our full Health and Safety Protocol here.
