Do you love NYC’s outdoor play spaces? Join us for this 8-week after-school program to learn all about how parks and playgrounds are made and create your own designs for amazing new play and green spaces. Through a variety of design and model making projects, you’ll explore map making, landscape architecture, play structures and more, culminating in your own final park or playground design project.
Scholarships:
The Scholarship Application deadline is Wednesday, March 9. If you are interested in applying for a need-based scholarship, please follow the instructions on the Scholarship Information and Financial Need Form.

By registering for this course, you are accepting our In-Person Programs Terms & Conditions.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Registration for all programs is non-transferable. Tuition for all programs is non-refundable. There are no exceptions to this policy. The Center for Architecture will not provide make-ups or refunds for days missed as a result of vacation plans, scheduling conflicts, illness (including COVID-19), emergencies, or other events beyond our control.
VACCINATION AND MASK POLICY: All visitors 5 and older must be fully vaccinated and will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (with photo ID for adults) to enter the Center for Architecture. The vaccination policy for Youth Programs will remain in place through the end of Summer 2022. Please see the Center for Architecture’s COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocol for current guidelines on masking.
