Have you ever wondered how buildings, bridges and other structures stand up? Join us for this 8-week after-school program and learn all about it! Each week we will explore a different type of structure through fun model-building activities to see how beams, columns, arches, domes, trusses, and cables work to support loads and keep buildings safe and strong. Then, take your favorite ideas and use them to design your own stupendous structure as a final project!
If you are interested in applying for a need-based scholarship, please see the scholarship information and Financial Need Form here. Please select 0 for “After-School Paid Registrant” and 1 for “Scholarship Applicant” to register. The Scholarship Application deadline is Monday, January 3rd.
