Join us for a discussion of new policy guidance from New York City on the application of Local Law 97 to affordable housing, and how meeting these requirements can act as a springboard to comfortable, healthy, and low carbon buildings for underserved communities.

In addition to New York State’s recently-announced efforts to increase electrification in affordable housing in compliance with the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, New York City is set to release additional guidelines for streamlining compliance with New York City’s climate action targets.

Gain a better understanding of Local Law 97 compliance for affordable housing from experts directly involved in the development and implementation of these new guidelines. Our panelists will provide an overview of new affordable housing considerations in Local Law 97, including how the law impacts different affordable housing categories, which categories will face building emissions limits, and the definitions and requirements of prescriptive measures outlined in the law.
