In this 8-session after-school program, students will be introduced to current innovations in architectural design and construction. As a class, we will investigate new materials, technologies, and design approaches that are paving the way for what our future homes, buildings and cities will look like. Students will explore topics such as sustainability, timber towers, 3D printed buildings, and more! Using varying model making techniques and materials, students will create their own versions of each innovation. By the end of the program, each student will design and build their own state of the art structure!
If you are interested in applying for a need-based scholarship, please see the scholarship information and Financial Need Form here. The Scholarship Application deadline is Monday, September 20th.
