The Emerging New York Architects Committee (ENYA) encourages membership, participation, and leadership in AIANY among emerging architects (licensed 10 years or fewer) and professionals in the fields of design and construction.
ENYA launched the TORCH University program in 2021 to promote the value of networking and professional development for students preparing to join the architectural profession. TORCH University introduces students to the diverse institutions that encourage healthy discourse about the sustainment and evolution of the profession. The program features dialogues between experienced practitioners, emerging professionals, and school representatives about the challenges of transitioning from an academic setting to the profession.
