Parks & Public Art: Statues & Sculptures in BPC

Battery Park City has a long history of public art projects and its parks are an outdoor gallery of sculptures and permanent art installations. Some are playful statues, others are large-scale works of architecture. Starting at the Skyscraper Museum, we will seek out the neighborhood’s variety of artworks and look closely to discover their secrets and stories. With their inspiration, kids will create their own artworks using supplies provided by the Museum. What art do you want to see in your neighborhood?  Age: 2nd-5th grade
