New York City faces a critical election this June for Mayor, Comptroller, Borough President, and City Council. It is essential that architects and designers have a powerful voice in this race. AIA New York has created a Voter Guide of Highly Rated candidates who are the strongest supporters of good and equitable design.

We invite you to join us to campaign for AIANY’s Highly Rated Candidates at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is serving as an early voting site from June 12-June 20. Your presence at the Met Museum will make a clear statement that good and equitable design is essential to the future of New York City.

Everyone is invited to sign up; you do not need to be an architect or registered voter. Campaigning is simple and easy: AIANY staff will give you a brief tutorial and all materials will be provided by AIANY staff. You do not need to attend for the entirety of the shift you sign up for and can stay for as long as you’d like.

AIANY staff will be reaching out after you sign up to provide further details. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Adam Roberts, AIANY Director of Policy, at aroberts@aiany.org.
