Future of Military Engineering Innovation for Resilience

The USACE North Atlantic Division (NAD) Commander and the New York District Commander will provide on over view of the US Army Corps of Engineers. The discussion will include specific highlights of military engineering as it relates to resilience as well as a discussion on engineering of the future (and present) and how it is building American resilience (at the Division level, specific to the North Atlantic Division). The NY District will highlight project implementation at the district and programs for resiliency USACE has funded, and those projects that have been authorized to put in place (beach replenishment, jetties, etc.). Additional points planned for the discussion include the timeline and some refinement to the Civil Works (CW) project implementation process, as well as authorization/appropriation concepts.
