Political Intimacy demystifies and humanizes the process of running for local office. Senator Jabari Brisport will be introducing a conversation between Recess: Assembly participants, Pratt Institute students, and Pratt Fine Arts Civic Engagement Fellow, Amy Khoshbin. The discussion will be focused on how we access local political candidates and representatives to create change leading up to our June 22 primary elections in NYC.

In addition to the interviews, we are opening an aligned exhibition of artists at Pratt Manhattan Gallery Windows that tackles questions regarding some of the most pressing issues on the citywide level today.

An exhibition walk-through, along with a screening of the interviews will be presented. Political Intimacy is open April 29– June 22, 2021.

Participating Artists: Elektra KB, Olek, Paperboy Prince, The Brothers Sick (Ezra and Noah Benus), Steve Powers, Sarah Kanu, Ellen Coleman Izzo, Matisse Robinson
