Now more than ever, small businesses are deeply enmeshed with our communities, fulfilling our needs and wants while also exemplifying the resiliency and sense of place in our neighborhoods. At a time when public health restrictions prevent us from gathering as we used to, how can we come together to support the mom and pop shops that we love so much? In this panel we will shine a light on six inspiring small businesses in our neighborhoods, diving into their histories, hearing how the past seven months have been, and of course learning ways to shop local virtually and from afar — just in time for the holiday season!

We’re thrilled to be joined by Exit 9 Gift Emporium’s Charles Branstool, Flower Power’s Lata Kennedy, La Sirena, Left Bank Books co-owners Erik DuRon and Jess Kuronen, Li-Lac Chocolates, and Porto Rico Importing Company.
