1.5 LU / 1.5 HSW

Live webinar taking place simultaneously in both New York and London.

New York and London will come together to have a conversation about the future of our cities and of city-making as we start to comprehend the long-term impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event relates to projects being undertaken by AIANY and New London Architecture (NLA). AIANY’s Visualize NYC 2021 explores issues in New York City that we believe will be central in the 2021 local elections. NLA’s The Changing Face of London documents the past fifteen years of development in the UK’s capital, exploring the major sites of development and their impact. The research also looks ahead at the areas that are predicted to undergo huge transformation in the next fifteen years. London and New York will take this opportunity to reflect and share stories of the past decade, discussing the major moments that shaped their recent histories. We will also discuss our predictions for the next fifteen years as we contend with the radical shifts 2020 has brought about.
