Cities are experiencing a long-overdue reimagining of our streetscape. An uptick in cycling, scootering, and other active transit modes is set against concerns over safety, an increase in automobile congestion, and decrease in public transit ridership.

This fourth and final session in the Future of Open Space series will examine the reclamation of open space as a means for an improved multimodal transit network. Susan Chin, FAIA, Hon. ASLA (Principal, DesignConnects) will be joined in conversation by Danny Harris (Executive Director, Transportation Alternatives), Anna Luten (Former Bicycle Mayor for Amsterdam & Mobility Adviser), and Samuel I. Schwartz, P.E. (Founder and CEO, Sam Schwartz Transportation Consultants).
