K-12 Summer Program: Green Island Home (Grades 6-8)

Time: 9:30 am – 4:00 pm (Lunch Break: 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm) 

Dates: Monday, August 24 – Friday, August 28, 2020

Price: $650

Imagine having a small island in the Hudson River all to yourself! Who and what would you bring to your island? In this program, you’ll design an eco-friendly home for yourself on an imaginary island. You’ll also learn how to create buildings and landscapes that take advantage of our climate and natural resources to make your island a “green” oasis in the city.

Our 2020 Summer Programs REFUND POLICY is as follows: Families may request a refund of their program payment (minus a $25/program processing fee) prior to 5:00 pm (ET) three weeks before the program start date. All cancellations must be made by email to k12education@centerforarchitecture.org. There will be no refunds for cancellations less than three weeks prior to the program start date. Refunds or make-ups will not be provided for days missed due to illness, scheduling conflicts, emergencies or other reasons. If the Center for Architecture is forced to cancel a program, families will receive a full refund of their payment for that program.
