NEW COURSE–Part 4: Design educator and historian Daniella Ohad presents a unique online course exploring the foundation of modern design history. Part 4 is a 5-session course providing an introduction to the major historical styles, evolution, and movements that came to shape the story of modern design from 1963 to 2000. By examining interiors, furniture, objects, building, designers, makers, methods of production, and material culture, students will develop an understanding of the history of design and its visual vocabulary. 

$75 ticket fee includes 5 one-hour webinar sessions. A webinar link to join will be emailed to registrants the day prior to the first session.

About the Instructor
Daniella Ohad received her Ph.D. from Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Design and Culture. She lectures and publishes widely on design history, theory, and the decorative arts. She has taught at Parsons the New School for Design, Pratt Institute, and Bard College. Ohad is a speaker on topics in design, collecting, and taste, hostess of a talk show, and a curator of design talks worldwide.
