Price: $1,300
High School students interested in exploring the field of architecture and developing their portfolios will get a thorough introduction to the design process in this two-week intensive studio. Focused on several studio design projects, students will explore design on a series of scales, starting with a small object working toward the design of a small building. Two –dimensional and axonometric drawing skills as well as basic model making skills will be demonstrated and students will develop these skills in a series of design challenges. Break-out groups will allow students to research and brainstorm collaboratively.

Our 2020 Summer Programs REFUND POLICY is as follows: Families may request a refund of their program payment (minus a $25/program processing fee) prior to 5:00 pm (ET) three weeks before the program start date. All cancellations must be made by email to k12education@centerforarchitecture.org. There will be no refunds for cancellations less than three weeks prior to the program start date. Refunds or make-ups will not be provided for days missed due to illness, scheduling conflicts, emergencies or other reasons. If the Center for Architecture is forced to cancel a program, families will receive a full refund of their payment for that program.
